They actively play fling the toy around, chase or catch it, then fling it again! They carry them from room to room and play with them in the new room! This is the only cat toy I have (after having purchased many different types of toys) that all of my cats adore and can lose lots of time playing with. I keep this toy in good supply, though they are quite durable despite all the playing.
